Executive Director of Pittsburgh Hires Veterans (PHV) and veteran spouse, Dayna Brown has more than a decade of experience in mid-level executive leadership for nationwide specialty retailers prior to joining PHV. Recruitment and talent management were part of her responsibilities. Outside of PHV, Dayna serves the veteran community in various capacities. She is a board member of the Friends of Pittsburgh Fisher House and a member of Auxiliary VFW Post 1810. She is an ETS - Expiration of Term of Service - Sponsor for those individuals transitioning out of the military and relocating to Pennsylvania. Dayna is also serving as a Veterans At Work Ambassador through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) - a program inspiring employers in the community to understand the value the military community brings to the civilian workforce and the best practices to attract, hire and retain these high-potential labor forces. Her husband is a Marine Corps veteran, Jr. Vice Commander of VFW District 29 and a member of the South Hills Honor Guard. Dayna has a bachelor's degree in business administration - accounting.
