Sabrina Saunders Mosby

President and Chief Executive Officer for Vibrant Pittsburgh

It is rare that one finds their passion and life’s work before their career even begins, but that is exactly what Sabrina Saunders Mosby experienced. A thought-leader with crystal clear vision, Sabrina has creatively strategized ways to reach each personal and professional goal that she has set. Her trajectory has been an intentional one, as she began working in community organizations right out of college and quickly developed an appetite and acumen for leaving programs and organizations better than she found them. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, the “City of Bridges,” Sabrina has spent the better part of her career helping others cross them. She understands that improving a region starts with its people and she has directed her drive and determination toward collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve the ultimate mission of the elevation of Pittsburgh residents, students, and workforce. Sabrina’s current position as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Vibrant Pittsburgh, (a non-profit economic development organization that was established to build a more diverse and inclusive Pittsburgh region by spearheading initiatives to attract, retain, and elevate a diverse workforce), allows her to do just that. At Vibrant Pittsburgh, she is able to be the region’s central resource, spokesperson, and convener on workforce diversity and inclusion. Over the years, Sabrina has made her mark in many organizations. She has held senior roles at numerous non-profits and spent close to a decade in the government sector while advocating for constituents at the local and federal levels. Whether she was in the role of Youth Policy Manager in the City of Pittsburgh’s Mayor’s office, Executive Director of Strong Women, Strong Girls, Inc, or President & CEO of the Coro Center for Civic Leadership, a few things remained constant; Sabrina brought awareness, growth, leadership, and problem-solving to the environment. She is highly adept at identifying gaps and crafting solutions to address them head on. Described by many as creative, innovative, collaborative, and results-oriented, she is a sought-after keynote speaker, facilitator, and workshop leader. Sabrina is the one that you want to bring in when you are ready to talk about real solutions. She serves in a variety of community leadership roles, including as Vice-Chair of the Board for Oakland Catholic Highschool and as a Board Director of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and Allegheny Health Network (AHN). Sabrina is a recipient of numerous awards and honors including being named an Athena Young Professional Finalist, Pittsburgh Magazine 40 under 40, Whirl Magazine 50 Finest, and the Pittsburgh Business Times' Power 100. She is an alumnus of Leadership Pittsburgh’s LDI XVII, holds a Master of Science degree from Carlow University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Sabrina resides in a North Hills suburb of Pittsburgh with her husband Brandon, son Lincoln, and family pup Monroe.
